We are Sævar and Særún—siblings from Iceland. We’ve lived in so many parts of the country that it’s hard to name just one hometown. We’re simply from Iceland, and we love sharing it with people!

Sævar is your driver-guide. He currently works as a tourist bus driver and has for several years. He’s passionate about creating great days on the road and making sure every stop feels worth it. Fire and Iceland started as his dream of building the kind of trips he’d want guests to remember forever.

Særún is the one behind the scenes making everything run smoothly—planning routes, coordinating hotels, handling bookings, and keeping all the details under control. She holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism, has studied bookkeeping, and has worked with startup companies—so you get both heart and structure in the same trip.

Together, we make a small, family-run team that’s big on care, fun, and unforgettable landscapes. We can’t wait to welcome you to Iceland!
